AMU Old Boys Welfare Association recently called a very important meeting for discussion on future working strategies.
The meeting was held under the supervision of Dr. Javed Manzar and conducted by Mr. Mohd. Anzar. The meet was attended by a large number of AMU old boys. Mr. Ghani Ahmad Adv. while addressing the meeting, told that the association has done a tremendous job in s very short span of time. The Chairman Mr. Tayyab Palki said that the the association has laid the foundation of a new and valuable tradition, which is appreciable. He congratulated the members for their untiring efforts and assured to lend his helping hand in all possible capacity.
The secretary Mr. Shahid Suman said that the AMU Old boys should spread awareness about education among their neighbours and friends.
Mr Saleem Khan made the members aware about the problems that the students face while pursuing their education. Talks are also on about making Aligarh one of the stops for Lichhavi Express. Dr. Mohd Aslam reiterated about joining the society in large numbers so that it could function smoothly. He also told that the society has conducted 8 health camps in the past, along with distribution of free medicines to the poor. The society also plans to work in the area of eduction. Mr. Shabbir Ahmad Adv. and Mr. Zialuhasan also also addressed the meeting. Mr. Sayeedurrahman, a student of JNU also addressed the meeting.
Haji Shahabuddin Engineer, Dr. Kaiser Pervez, Dr. Afzal, Mr. Manzar Kamal, Mr. Shahid Jamal, Mr. Ansar Ahmad, Mr. Aneesurrahman, Mr, Raziurrahman, Mr. Ameeruzzaman, Mr. Shahid Ahuja and Mr. Abdullah Engineer, Mr.Sarvar Zaheer, Mr. Liyaqat Ali, Mr. Mohd. Anas, Mr. Shahid Pervez along with many other students attended the meeting.
